El Campello

Is a little further out from Alicante City but it is the closest beach to our beautiful apartment and I love it here. Why? The beach has a lovely family, seaside feel. There are restaurants all along the sea front, which is ideal if you have young children and most importantly it is a lot easier to actually get a parking space in the height of summer.

El Campello Beach

We usually park along Ave de Ausias March and Av de Alcoy. If we can't find a space here we will try and park down one of the side roads. Then we walk towards the beach and cut down past the Solbank.

If you get the tram to this beach from Alicante then it stops a bit further into El Campello. When you exit the tram there is a short distance to walk down to the beach

Kathy at El Campello Beach

We have had some lovely days out here and not just in the summer but the winter also. This photograph was taken in December and the beach still looks inviting (but it was cold!).

El Campello is also accessible from Benidorm, Calpe and Denia you can get to El Campello from these destinations on the narrow gauge railway.
