Firstly I suggest going to www.alsa.es and put in your requirements. This website is is very straight-forward and easy to use.
It takes approx 2 and a half hours to get between Alicante and Javea and costs approx 9 euros - one way (correct as of July 2009, this is subject to change).
There are about 8 buses per day to Javea and the first bus leaves Alicante destined for Javea at 7.00 and the last bus is at 19.00.
An example of their route is as follows:-
Departure Arrival ALICANTE 07:00 CRUCE SAN JUAN 07:10 07:10 CAMPELLO 07:20 07:20 VILLAJOYOSA 07:45 07:45 BENIDORM JAIME I 08:05 08:05 BENIDORM AVD.EUROPA 08:15 08:15 BENIDORM 08:20 08:20 CRUCE ALFAZ DEL PI 08:25 08:25 ALTEA 08:30 08:30 CALPE 08:50 08:50 BENISA 09:00 09:00 CRUCE DE TEULADA 09:05 09:05 TEULADA 09:10 09:10 BENITACHELL 09:20 09:20 JAVEA 09:35Not all the routes are the same, for example the 7.30 bus only stops at the following towns:-
